Dozens of 1st-grade students who had just set foot in the best elementary school level in Palembang, for the first time, officially participated in a flag ceremony wearing their proud red and white uniforms. With neat red and white uniforms and elementary school hats perched on their tiny heads, the new students stood tall under the warm morning sunlight. With a solid rhythm, the children played beautiful and neat notes through various musical instruments such as marimbas, snare drums, and bass drums, drawing awe from the audience. Palembang, April 19, 2025 – Joyful and proud news once again comes from the Nusa Indah Elementary art contingent. As one of the elementary schools in Palembang that continues to carve achievements up to the national arena, our school's proud drum band team successfully made new history. Competing in the prestigious Lampung Marching Competition (LMC), the Nusa Indah Elementary drum band team successfully brought home the title of 3rd Overall Champion! The children's hard struggle paid off fully when they performed optimally in the competition arena. With elegant red-and-black costumes, marching cohesiveness, and neat musical harmonization, their performance successfully mesmerized the judges. Not half-hearted, besides the title of 3rd Overall Champion, our contingent also swept many award trophies from various prestigious categories contested at the event. This massive success was certainly realized thanks to extraordinary collaboration. The school expresses deep gratitude and immense thanks for the endless support from parents, trainers, the council of teachers, and all staff who helped escort the children directly to Lampung.
